Kern Type offers immediate feedback in the form of low-stakes right or wrong answers. This gamified strategy encourages students to try again to improve their score, while inadvertently improving their observational skills. As this is all done independently, there is no competition or pressure to perform although an element of competition could be introduced if the instructor deems it beneficial.
